“Relationship is therapy.” You can talk to me about anything.
At Spark Matters, I am a counsellor and psychotherapist, and a Registered Member of BACP (MBACP 413450). I offer trauma-focused relational therapy, mainly online, with in-person sessions available in Edinburgh by arrangement.
I work relationally, so the relationship between us is part of the therapy. It can help us notice patterns and make sense of things that may not yet be fully conscious.
Much of my experience is in trauma work. I offer a gentle, paced space for people who have lived through abuse or violence, including sexual abuse, childhood abuse, emotional abuse and domestic abuse.
My previous work includes Rape Crisis and NHS psychiatric hospitals.
If you have been feeling stuck, low, or simply want to understand something better, send me a quick hello. Email chhavi@sparkmatters.co.uk to arrange a free 30-minute “get to know each other” call, or text or WhatsApp 07746 645312 at any time.

But why is it called Spark Matters?
The practice is called Spark Matters because I believe that even a tiny spark inside you—a wish for change—can be enough to bring that change, and it matters. I believe half the battle is already won when there is an intention to seek help and change. Therefore, you are halfway there already. Be proud of yourself.
