I first experienced the benefits of counselling and psychotherapy when I was a young athlete. That experience drew me towards this work. I cannot point to one exact moment when I chose the profession, but I feel content that I now get to support people through their own life journeys.
I work relationally. I believe the relationship between a therapist and client can be therapeutic in itself. Much of my experience is in trauma-focused work that is paced by the client, sensitive and gentle.
I work with adults and children from all walks of life, regardless of gender, age or background.

I mostly work integratively. I believe we can take what we need from all the wealth of resources available to us. I am trained in CBT, humanistic therapy and relational therapy.
I think the relational approach in therapy is underrated. I move beyond the conventional Western setup of therapy and offer flexibility and dynamism, which I believe is at the core of our humanness. There are, of course, professional boundaries that need to be kept in mind and are useful. However, I tend to move beyond an overly rigid therapy setting.
As a psychotherapist, I do not diagnose individuals. However, I have worked and do work with people who have received diagnoses. I have previously worked with people diagnosed with ADHD, autism, psychosis and OCD.
